Curious App SupportCurious: Question of the Day is a free iMessage app for iPhone and iPad. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or paid app features.Open Curious in Messages
Open Messages and a conversation. Tap + beside the message field, then find curious in the app list; scroll or tap More if needed. Choose Group Chat or One:One. Tap a question to add it and a date card to a draft, then press the normal Messages send button when ready. You can edit the question text before sending. Curious does not open as a separate Home Screen app.Explore more
Expand the Messages panel to see your sending streak, rate questions and browse the previous three days. Questions are bundled and cached for offline use; the catalog can refresh when connected. Sending depends on Messages and your connection.Privacy & Analytics

Curious Privacy PolicyEffective October 3, 2026. This policy covers Curious: Question of the Day, the iMessage app developed by Bryce Doughman. For support or privacy questions, contact [email protected].Your messages stay out of analytics
Curious does not send message text, message edits, contacts, phone numbers, conversation identifiers or participant identifiers to its analytics service. Apple’s Messages app handles composing, editing and sending messages. Curious cannot determine whether a question was edited or confirm delivery.Optional usage analytics
Analytics are off by default. If you enable Share usage analytics in Privacy & Analytics, Curious sends limited events to the developer’s Supabase service to improve questions, understand compact versus expanded panel use and measure taps on the Ephraim Press developer-support link.Events include randomly generated installation, session and event identifiers; app opens, expanded-panel use, support-link taps and question-send starts; supplied-question identifiers, categories and dates; ratings on a 1–4 scale; event date/time, local-calendar date, time-zone name and app version/build.The installation ID is not an advertising identifier, but it links events from the same installation. It is not your name, email address or Apple Account. Counts describe opted-in installations and send starts, not verified people, message contents, purchases or confirmed deliveries.We do not sell analytics data, combine it with other companies’ data for advertising or use cross-app tracking, advertising SDKs or data brokers.Local storage
Curious stores its question catalog/cache, ratings, streaks and privacy choice locally. If you opt in, it queues up to 500 unsent events and retries while the extension is active and connected. Events more than 90 days old are discarded from the upload queue.Disabling analytics stops new events and removes unsent events from your device. Deleting the app removes its local data, not events already received by the service. Ratings can remain on your device without being uploaded, and the app’s features work with analytics off.Service provider and security
Supabase processes question-catalog requests and optional analytics for the developer. Requests use HTTPS. App clients may submit validated events, but cannot read, change or delete other users’ events or access the developer’s private reports. Service providers may process technical request information to operate and secure their systems. Report access is restricted to authorized project access.Retention and deletion requests
Uploaded records are retained for reporting until deleted or de-identified; no automatic server-side retention cutoff is currently configured. Opting out does not delete previously uploaded records.To request deletion of uploaded events, email [email protected] with the installation ID shown in Curious’s Privacy & Analytics panel. Please do not send private conversation content. Deletion from backups follows the service provider’s normal backup-retention process.Free app and developer support
Curious is free: no subscriptions, in-app purchases or paid app features. Its only revenue source is optional purchases of physical books at Ephraim Press. No purchase is required.The support link opens the store outside Curious. Curious does not attach its installation or session identifiers to the link, and app analytics do not receive order or payment details. Browsing, checkout and orders are governed separately by the store’s privacy policy and service providers. This policy does not cover information you choose to submit through website forms.Changes
